Haberkorn Ulmer touch4order 3.0

In January 2007 version 3.0 of the Haberkorn Ulmer application touch4order was released. touch4order is a convenient solution to manage and transfer Haberkorn Ulmer orders that where usually created with the help of a barcode scanner.

Andreas Pircher developed the first version of this application in 2003. In the following years the software was further extended to the versions 2.0 and 2.1. Version 3.0 was completely rewritten from scratch to integrate the full strength of the .NET Framework 2.0 and the rich experiences that Luxbox.net has made in the last five years of .NET development.

Der Einrichtungs-Assistent von touch4order 3.0 A configuration assistant was added for the simplification of the installation process. The assistant is shown at the first start of the application and provides the possibility to enter and validate the customer account data and select the used scanner model from an illustrated list.

The supported barcode scanners and the corresponding software components are central administered by Haberkorn Ulmer. Thus at any time further scanner models can be introduced. The support of the existing scanner models was strongly improved.

The user interface of touch4order was likewise strongly improved. The detail area can be displayed at the bottom or at the right side of the window. All areas can be flexibly shown or hidden. By using the Collapsible List Control from Luxbox.net the orders can be grouped by date, purchaser, commission/building site, cost centre, general ledger, consignee or the customer reference number.

As before all article data of the displayed items inclusive list prices, prices for the individual customer and shortcuts to occurrences of the article in online catalogues are called up through web services from the Haberkorn Ulmer web server. Special attention was also put to security in the current version.
